back in black

if there is one thing i can count on during fashion week[s] worldwide-- is a plethora of solid black.  black gets a bad rep as boring or [my least favorite fashion word] "safe".  however, it is the fall back color for all fashion freaks [like myself] because it provides instant chic.  black is cool.  it's dangerous.  okay, it's a slimming color-- which i know helps-- but it still dominants as the quintessential go-to for more reasons than that.  here is a quick homage to solid black:
